Club Craig - 2013-1
Is as extra large, really an extra large.I have a number of shirts that I still wear from around 4 years ago. I'm an extra-large size. My old shirts still fit me nicely. My size hasn't changed that much in the last 4 years. What has changed, however, is this rediculous campain that has been coloquially called "metabo syndrome." Since the beginning of this campaign, the sizes of shirts has actually been getting smaller. An XL size now is no longer the same as an XL shirt from 4 years ago. I can see what they think they are trying to do... but I'd like to really see if by doing this, it has actually forced anyone to change their size? It's more of an annoyance for me than anything else. Until next time. The season is upon us.It appears the Influenza season is now upon us again. It just seems like the last season had only just left and now it's back again. I wonder what we could be doing better in order to reduce the severity of these attacks? Where does the money go? Pondering thoughts for the day. Until next time.... The weather man, the next installment. It seems the weather man was right on the money again. It's raining. Maybe, just maybe, it's my bike that's the catalyst for rain. Any time I get the urge to ride, sure enough, rain is not far behind.... Something to ponder. Until next time... How can I become good at cooking. This evening I enjoyed making one of the things that I believe I make pretty well... Takoyaki... It's really a lot of fun and the enjoyment comes from watching the food take it's shape. Slowly and with care. The chance to drink a beer or 2 whilst cooking is also a good part of the cooking process. You'll notice it's Fosters. Fosters is almost an Australian beer. It's Australian, but it's almost beer. If I was in Australia, I wouldn't choose it. But, beggars can't be choosers I guess.... All-in-all, it was a very successfull evening. Sometimes life is funny. There are some things in life that are a little strange and funny. Some more so than others. However, I was running an RC this afternoon on the ラジコン天国 Offroad Circuit and the condition of the course was fantastic. It hasn't rained for about 2 days so the ground was nicely tacky. There was plenty of traction. So, my Inferno was still in parts as I'd been waiting for them. I decided to run my TRF201 which, as it turned out, was a great decision. With the extra traction, the rear-wheel drive car was really fast. Perhaps, too fast... I landed the main jump wrong and off the circuit. The tyre dug into the softer ground and ended up breaking the suspension arm near the chassis. Now, normally this kind of thing would have be down in the dumps. I've now go to go and order more parts and wait for them to come (this is the bit I dislike the most)... But I'm not feeling even the least bit down after all this. In fact, I have a huge smile. It was so much fun. It's such a rare occasion for the condition of the circuit to be that good. So, from recent experience, 1 day after it rains, it's too wet. 2 days after is just perfect. So lets hope it rains every Thursday :) It's a nice dream anyway...... Until next time..... |
