Club Craig - 2016-8
To Okayama and back
Spent the weekend in Okayama City.
Family service complete for the week.
Next weekend is the 24 hour Charity race so I'll need the brownie points for then.
All-in-all, I was a little unimpressed with Okayama City as a tourist destination. There was very little to see and very little to do.
The only place I found was the Okayama Castle. The boys weren't that impressed. But, I do like the stone work on the walls.
Summer is beating me up
It's been a little while since I've written in this part of my blog. I've had a fair bit going on in the last few months.
Most of it has been fantastic. I got visited by some of my family from Australia. I've been living away from Australia for so long, that I really don't feel like it's home anymore. My family is here. I have responsibilities here as well.
But, with them coming over, I realized that I'm also quite alone here. There really isn't anyone like me. It can make me down sometimes, but I guess I'm used to it. I don't want people exactly like me, but it's nice to be around people of my own "tribe" sometimes.
Thank you Mum, and Grant, for a great few weeks. I'll look forward to seeing you again. Maybe next year.
Next on the horizon is the 24 hour charity race at ラジコン天国.
