I have been back for exactly a month now. I decided to celebrate this milestone by going out and riding 100 kilometers.
This never used to be that much of a problem for me and to be honest, it was easier than I expected.
You do have to celebrate milestones, right?

It's been 4 months since I've ridden this bike. I have a couple of bikes, but I feel this is really my favourite. It's not the most expensive, nor the most capable, but it is definitely the most fun.

It's also a bike that's hard on you. You have to work to get places ans that fits with my type 2 personality I think.

I'm back riding with my friend. This is our first ride together since my crash. So that makes it nearly 4 months... It's nice to be back riding together, again, anther step back to a slice of normality.

The tip of the arrow is around where I live. As you can see there's 2 typhoons building down to the south of us. I'm hoping they both don't hit us but it looks like one may come very close during the Obon festival. That is going to cause a few problems for the people whom are here for the dancing. It normally rains heavily on at least one of the nights, but this could certainly spoil there week.

It's typhoon season. The one that was closest to us has move below us. It's a very interesting path because it's very unusual for a typhoon to come so close to us but be tracking from east to west.

Thankfully it didn't rain as much as they'd forecast. I did manage to get a good ride up Mt Bizan this morning. Little by little, the things I Used to do are coming back to me.

I'll probably talk on this later, but being away like I was really feels like I've lost time. I feel like I'm the same person but it's different somehow.
